Our Beliefs & Vision
God, out of the enormity of His love for us, sent His only begotten Son into this world to become an Offering for Sin; to pay the price for the redemption of all mankind. (John 3:16)
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and it contains all the wisdom of God that we need to live lives that please Him.
There is one God, revealed in three distinct persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Salvation comes to a person by grace, through faith. (Eph. 2:8)
Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of God, and of a person’s ability to rise into the newness of life just as Jesus rose from His grave. (Rom. 6:4)
Communion is a reminder of all that Jesus accomplished for us by the shedding of His blood, and the sacrifice of His body. (1 Cor 11:23-25)
God has saved us, healed us, and transformed us, not for us only, but so that we can help bring the same to many others.
God’s heart is not only to bring us to Heaven one day, but to bring Heaven to us while we remain on this earth.
Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross has provided Access & Entitlement for all men to the covenant promises of God, including Prosperity, Health, and Victory, since all believing men are now fellow-citizens and heirs to the covenants of promise. (Eph. 2:12,13,19)
Everyone has a wonderful destiny, and that God has a plan for your life; that for us God has a hope and a future (Jer. 29:11)
Jesus is soon coming to take the believers out of this world (The Rapture), to be followed by His Second Coming, and then a new Millennial Reign. (1 Thess. 4:17, Rev. 20)
The VISION of New Covenant Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus here on Long Island and work together with other local churches to see this Long Island become the Lord’s Island.
